The Bodystat®1500MDD is a dual frequency, hand-held Bio-impedance Analyzer which is easy to use and requires no specialist skills. It is a non-invasive battery operated device, which measures the impedance value of the body providing quick and effective analysis of body composition.
This technique is used to professionally measure body fat, lean muscle mass, water content, metabolic rates and BMI. It will also calculate caloric requirements and BMR. Sequential measurements by the unit can pick up subtle changes in body composition even when there is no change in total body weight.
